Knit stitch and chatter
We are a small informal group of 30-60 somethings.We meet once a week on Thursdays between 1-3pm with occasional evening social events. We are also planning a monthly evening session but that is to be arranged. Watch this space.
We meet to share our news, views and problems, upholding eachother in our faith. Craft of any kind is our central theme and we are always looking to learn new skills and use old ones to support people in need everywhere.
We as a group support several different charities. We knit and
crochet warm items for Link Romania and are involved in the church's yearly
shoebox appeal. We collect items for City Missions 'Basics Bank' which aids
local people in crisis.
We ask for a donation of £1 for tea, coffee and biscuits (as much
as you like!). There are materials available for several different crafts at a
very small charge or of course you can bring your own. Beginners to experts very
welcome!
