7th Brighton Girls' Brigade
The Girls’ Brigade (GB) is a Christian, international charity working alongside girls and young women of every background, ability and culture. GB has become known worldwide as a fun, interesting, challenging and relevant provider of activities, skills, care and Christian love for hundreds of thousands of young people.
Girl’s Brigade takes place at our church on Tuesday evenings during term time. We are a friendly group who carries out a structured programme, a wide range of activities and other special events too.
Girls aged 4 ½ to 7 are called Explorers and come during the first part of the evening (6pm - 7:30pm). Girls aged 7 to 11 years are Juniors and can also come from 6pm until 7:30pm.
The older girls and young ladies often help with the younger girls during their sessions but have their own focus time from 7:30pm - 9pm. Seniors are aged 11 to 13. Brigaders are aged 13 to 18.
